An internationally celebrated soloist and chamber musician, clarinetist Nathan Williams has recently been praised for his “sublime control”, “silky sound”, and “dazzling technique”. He is the principal clarinetist of the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra in Houston, Texas and a Performing Artist/Clinician for both Buffet Group USA and Vandoren. In 2014, he was concerto soloist with the University of Texas Wind Ensemble on a world tour which included performances in Hawaii, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, China and the United Kingdom. His performances can be heard regularly on NPR’s “Performance Today”. Also in demand as an educator, his students have garnered prizes in national and international competitions and hold positions in major symphony orchestras and universities in the US and abroad.
